National Nurses Week Ice Cream Social at
Adventist Health, Bakersfield
National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th.
In 2020, just after the California COVID-19 stay at home order was issued, our team recognized that there would be added stress for healthcare workers and National Nurses Week was coming up. We connected with Adventists Health’s Philanthropy Director and this idea blossomed from there. We were happy to be back for National Nurses Week in 2023 providing treats for hospital workers.
