Inspiring Future Engineers: Courtney McKee Speaks at IgniteHER STEM Event
Courtney McKee, a licensed PE and dedicated STEM advocate, recently participated as a panelist at the KCSOS IgniteHER STEM event for girls. The event welcomed female students ranging from 5th to 8th grade, eager to explore opportunities within STEM education and careers. Courtney McKee is a licensed PE (professional engineer) and currently works as a structural engineer. Growing up in Bakersfield, Courtney's passion for engineering was apparent at a young age, fueled by her fascination with math and physics. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and delved headfirst into the world of structural engineering.
