On Site and In the Field – Anacapa Tours the Boron Borax Mine

Anacapa team members recently had a fantastic experience at Rio Tinto's “Meet the Mine” tour in Boron, California. This site is the largest open-pit borax mine globally, with a rich history of borate mining dating back to 1927.

Although our team frequently supports facility projects, the opportunity to explore the mine firsthand was a rare delight. Collaborating with the U.S. Borax team on various engineering projects has been rewarding and we look forward to supporting future project needs.
